This site allows you to search properties in a given geographical area. All you need to do is to center the map and zoom in/out so that your target area is fully visible in the map. You center the map by dragging and double clicking to zoom-in or using the scroll arrows visible in the map. You can also center the map by giving the name of the locality (eg. "Bandra, Mumbai, India") in the "Center map at:" box.
Once the map is centered you need to hit the "Search Properties!" button. This will show you the results page where the properties you can buy/rent are marked on the map and also listed in a table below the map. If you are interested in a property, you can click on the map marker and a box will popup with more information. You can even select based on the information displayed in the search results table.
There is a google searchbox inside the map that can be used to find local schools, hostpitals, markets etc. This can help you take an informed buy/rent decision. Just type the search term and click the "Search Properties!" button inside the map. The relevant results will be displayed on the map. You can cycle through the results by pressing the tiny green arrow that appears on top of the google search box.
To add a listing for your property, follow the "Add Property" link. First you would need to center the map around your property. This can be done by dragging and double clicking to zoom-in or using the scroll arrows visible in the map. You can also center the map by giving the name of the locality (eg. "Bandra, Mumbai, India") in the "Center map at:" box.
Once the map is correctly centered you can place the map marker at the correct location. To complete the process, describe the features of the property and also give other information such as the number of rooms and the expected price and hit the "Add!" button.
